When you access our website, the following information is saved in server log files by default:

  • the page from which the file was requested – Referrer URL
  • the name of the file
  • the date and time of the request
  • a description of the type of web browser / browser version and operating system used
  • the hostname of the accessing computer

The stored data is evaluated exclusively for internal statistical purposes and does not allow us to draw any conclusions about your identity.

We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth and proper connection setup to the website
  • ensuring the usability of the website
  • evaluating system security and stability

Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for data collection.
The legitimate interest follows from the stated purpose of data collection.
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Under no circumstances do we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your identity.
The processing of data we receive via our website takes place on servers within Europe. Should this not be the case for individual tools or plug-ins, we will explicitly note this at the respective location.

Cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that your browser automatically creates and stores on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, or similar) when you visit our website.

Cookies do not cause any damage to your device, nor do they contain viruses, Trojans, or other malicious software. Information is stored in the cookie that arises in each case in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we obtain direct knowledge of your identity as a result. We use cookies to statistically record the use of our websites and to evaluate them for the purpose of optimizing our offerings for you. Most browsers accept cookies automatically. You can configure your browser so that no cookies are stored on your computer or a notice always appears before a new cookie is created. The complete deactivation of cookies may result in you not being able to use all functions of our website.

Article 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the use of cookies on our website.

Usercentrics Cookie

This website uses the Usercentrics cookie, which sets a technically necessary cookie to store your cookie consents.
This cookie does not process any personal data.
Your consents given when entering the website are stored in the cookie. If you wish to revoke these consents, simply delete the cookie in your browser. When you re-enter or reload the website, you will be asked for your cookie consent again.

Contact Form

If you send us inquiries via the contact form, your details from the inquiry form, including the contact data you provided there, will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not pass on this data without your consent.
The processing of the data entered into the contact form is therefore based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You may revoke this consent at any time. An informal notification by email to us is sufficient for this purpose. The lawfulness of the data processing operations carried out up to the revocation remains unaffected by the revocation.
The data you entered into the contact form will remain with us until you ask us to delete it, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for data storage no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been fully processed). Mandatory statutory provisions—in particular retention periods—remain unaffected.

Communication by Email

We also communicate by email with the consent of the respective data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Emails may constitute business letters, meaning that these emails, including the email address, will be stored by us until the expiration of tax and/or commercial law retention periods and/or retention periods under other statutory provisions.
After the retention obligation expires, a review is conducted at the end of the calendar year to determine whether there is any further necessity for processing. If this is not the case, the data will be deleted.

Data Protection in the Event of Submission of Application Documents

If you send us application documents, we will use them exclusively for the purpose of making a decision regarding your application and will not pass your data on to third parties.

Since an application typically contains sensitive personal data, please note that you are responsible for any encryption of the data. If you use encryption, we kindly ask you to communicate the corresponding password to us by phone.

Application data is stored and managed separately from other datasets and is used exclusively for the purpose of candidate selection. If an employment relationship is established, the necessary data from the application process will be transferred to the personnel file.

If no employment relationship is established, the application documents will be automatically deleted no later than six months after notification of the rejection decision, provided that no other legitimate interests of the data controller prevent deletion or the applicant has explicitly consented to a longer storage and retention of their application (applicant pool).

Article 6(1)(a) and (b) GDPR serves as the legal basis for data processing (consent and initiation of a contract). The retention period following a rejection is based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR (demonstration of legally compliant conduct, e.g., under the General Equal Treatment Act [AGG]).

Product Catalog Download

If you download our product catalog, the following data is stored: name, company, email address.
We use this data with your consent to send you offers.
The processing of the data is based exclusively on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data and its use for submitting offers at any time, for example, via the unsubscribe link in the email. The lawfulness of data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.

Google may transfer the information obtained through Maps to third parties where required by law or where such third parties process the data on Google’s behalf. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address with any other data held by Google.

You have the option to deactivate the Google Maps service and thus prevent data transfer to Google by disabling JavaScript in your browser.

Please note, however, that in this case you will not be able to use the map display on our website.

You can find Google’s Privacy Policy & additional Terms of Service for Google Maps at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

For the purpose of designing our website to meet user needs and continuously optimizing it, we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google LLC.

Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”).

This information may also be transferred to third parties if required by law or if third parties process this data on behalf.
Your IP address will under no circumstances be merged with other data from Google. The IP addresses are anonymized so that an assignment is not possible (IP masking).
Further information on data protection in connection with Google Analytics can be found in the Google Analytics Help Center (https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de).
The legal basis is your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future.

Google Web Fonts (Privacy-Compliant Integration)

This site uses so-called Web Fonts provided by Google for the uniform display of fonts.
The fonts are hosted locally on our server, so no IP addresses are transmitted to Google.

Use of Google reCAPTCHA (Consent Only)

The reCAPTCHA service of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) is used on our website. The legal basis for the use of Google reCAPTCHA on our website is Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR.
The query is intended to prevent abusive automated processing of data by machines.
As part of the query, the IP address and any other data required by Google for the reCAPTCHA service are transmitted to Google. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the scope of reCAPTCHA is not merged with other data by Google. Google Inc.’s diverging data protection provisions apply to this. Further information on the privacy policies of Google Inc. can be found at https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de or https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de.
